Grown on Adam’s home vineyard in the Great Western sub-region of the Grampians, the Hard Hill Road wines are made only in years of excellent fruit, and display the subtle majesty of his vineyard. Old vines, low-intervention winemaking techniques, low-fertility soils, brisk winds, and cool ripening conditions conspire to produce a wine of wonderful intensity and balance.

His Hard Hill Road Shiraz typically displays aromas on an intense and tightly woven fabric of blackberry, liquorice, dark chocolate and black pepper that flow onto the palate.

Secondary notes of tar, gunsmoke and cured meats add an element of the exotic, and sit comfortably atop a fine tannin backbone. The underlying structure is refined and complex, providing for a long and evolved finish.
