White Wine of the Month
Little Red Tractor Sauvignon Blanc
This Little Red Tractor is the White Wine of the Month for April.
Ok, so its not an actual Little Red Tractor. However it is a cracking Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
Over the last year there has been a flood of poor quality Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs hitting the market. Desperate times for NZ winemakers has meant that grapes are either left to rot on the vines, or the juice is cheaply sold and mass produced, leading to an inferior product. The Little Red Tractor Sauvignon Blanc however, has been made in a Classical Marlborough style. Upon a backbone of herbaceousness lie tropical fruit, passionfruit and gooseberry. Look a little closer and you may see spice and flint.
