The single vineyard Heathcote Merlot was picked at optimum ripeness when the tannins were ripe and subtle, and the flavours full. Aromas of plums and raspberry merge seamlessly with spicy oak flavours, plums and red cherries on the palate. The wine was kept in barrels for up to 10 months.
