The Cirillo 1850 Semillon is harvested entirely of a single vineyard in the Light Pass region in the Barossa Valley believed to be the oldest Semillon (Pink Madeira) vineyard in the world.

Picked early in the season, it is extremely pale green/yellow, almost clear in colour. The aroma is of lifted lemongrass with some clean mineral characters. Fruit is dominant on the palate with a lean, tight structure and driven acid finish. This Semillon is the ideal balance of fruit and acidity. Truly an exciting Semillon that will reward early drinking or cellaring for years to come.
