Astoria Red Label Prosecco is as unique & elegant as its multi-award winning bottle.
Its perlage is tiny and continuous and being light straw yellow in colour, the bouquet is elegant, clean-cut, and fruity.

The Astoria Prosecco’s taste is characteristic, pleasantly slightly acid, & harmonious.

This unique Prosecco in Australia pairs well with seafood, cheese, cold cuts of meat, or sushi.

Where is Astoria Prosecco from?

The story of Astoria’s healthy and sustainable wine starts in the mid 1980s in the northern islands of Venice, Italy.

Two brothers, Paolo and Giorgio Polegato, wanted to make a Prosecco that captures the true essence of Venetian white wines.

Today, 7 million kilograms of grapes are processed for Astoria Proseccos every single year.

How do I open Astoria Prosecco?

Before you open, make sure you chill the bottle in the fridge for 3 hours or in a bucket of ice for 1 hour; this will help with opening and make it taste nicer.

The Prosecco has a tab on the covering of the muselet that can be torn horizontally to take this covering off.

The muselet – also called the cage – is the metal wiring that is tied around the cork to prevent it from popping at the wrong time.

Put your thumb on the cork and face the cork in a direction away from anybody while you unscrew the tab of the muselet – this should take about six twists – but don’t take it off.

Then, with the muselet still on the cork, hold them together while you twist the bottle – not the cork – clockwise to remove the cork slowly.
