The fruit of the Harewood Estate Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from vineyards in the cool climate subregions of Mount Barker, Albany, and Denmark.

Only the finest, more pristine, “free-run” juice was used in the production of a Semillon Blanc wine resulting in a wine of outstanding elegance – free from harsh, phenolic character.

Minimal fining and the use of screw caps are all further steps towards capturing the inherent delicacy of this cool climate Harewood Estate Semillon Sauvignon Blanc.

Is Semillon Sauvignon Blanc dry or sweet?

A brilliant, pale colour with youthful green tinges and an intense nose combining the gooseberry and herbaceous aromas of Semillon Blanc wine with the lemons and grassiness of cool climate Semillon.

This dry, white wine has mouth-watering citrus fruits flavour that are balanced by hints of more tropical passion fruit and pineapple.

Hints of flint and spice in the mid-palate lead to a lingering fine finish of grapefruit.

What is a Semillon Sauvignon Blanc?

Semillon is a type of yellow-skinned white grape that is most commonly grown for white wines in Australia, South Africa, and France.

Sauvignon Blancs are green-skinned white grapes that produce one of the most bought white wines in the world of the same name.

Therefore, this white wine encompasses two different grapes, one rare and one extremely prevalent flavour, to make this into a truly unique wine that is great for anybody trying to find something new.
