Named after a Roman centurion who lived on Librandi land in the second century AD, Magno Megonio was the first to write about regional wine-making traditions. Produced using Magliocco Dolce grapes, a variety that grows throughout the Calabrian region, this red with a big personality and a good structure represents local wine-making at its best.

Librandi Val di Neto Rosso Magno Megonio is from the Rosaneti Farm, in the countryside of Rocca di Neto and Casabona. Aged in wood, with 12 months in Allier Barriques and additional bottle aging of 6 months. Ruby red in colour, the nose has aromas of plums and black fruits complement undertones of pepper, tobacco, licorice, and chocolate. Zesty acidity and velvety tannins make for an exquisite experience with this indigenous varietal.
