Marco Gavio Chianti Classico is a full bodied wine with a great structure, excellent balance and persistence. A very complex and elegant nose, lots of dark fruits along with floral and spicy notes. This wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barriques followed by at least 6 months in bottle and its this slow ageing in French barriques which enhances the wine with notes of vanilla, tobacco and cocoa.
